At Foxcreek Dental, the technology we use helps us provide patients with dental care including dental lasers, digital X-rays and the iTero intraoral scanners.
Technologies at Our Dental Clinic
The technology we use at Foxcreek Dental, helps to inform treatment planning and make your dental appointments more efficient. Because we can display digital X-rays and scans on the monitors in our treatment rooms, we are able to show you any issues with your dental health and walk you through your treatment plan step by step.
Our goal is to ensure our patients are fully informed about their oral health and provide dental care. Dental technology helps our team of professionals to provide you with the dental care you deserve.
Digital X-rays use digital sensors instead of traditional photographic X-ray film and reduce radiation exposure by up to 90%. Digital X-rays produce detailed computer images of the teeth and gums, as well as other oral structures and conditions, allowing your dentist to see parts of the mouth not visible to the naked eye.
Panoramic X-rays allow your dentist to create a single image of your entire mouth. These images are flat representations of the teeth, upper and lower jaws, TMJ, and the nasal and sinus structures which can be used by your dentist to evaluate and diagnosis problems such as bone abnormalities, fractures, impacted teeth, and infections.
Lasers in dentistry can be used in a variety of soft and hard tissue procedures. They allow our dentists to perform procedures with less pain and fewer medical interventions.
CAD/CAM is a system that gives our dentists the ability to fabricate and place ceramic restorations such as dental crowns and inlays and onlays in a single appointment.
iTero 3D Scanner
The iTero® intraoral scanner takes highly accurate, 3D impressions of your bite. iTero allows your dentist to plan your treatment in real time, store data digitally, easily share impressions with other professionals, and create Invisalign aligners.
